Aviation fueling
SQAS Full Oil and Gas Testing Capabilities

Aviation fueling Aviation Jet fuel Inspection, quality and specification testing is a critical test mandatory as per joint inspection Group guideline. SQAS’ ISO 17025 accredited laboratories are the leading service provider in Horn of Africa, with full capabilities as per refinery requirements. SQAS aviation fuel laboratories offer their expertise and quality analysis services 24/7, testing to ASTM, IP, MIL, DefStan, AFQRJOS, JIG/EI 1530 and other jet aviation industry standards.

Jet A1
Traceability Report

Its critical for aviation fuel to be traced from refinery to aircraft, well-known and very important quality analysis for Jet Fuel is the Jet Fuel Thermal Oxidation Test, this quality control is performed an important instrument that acts as mini aircraft engine. Standard working method ASTM D3241 is internationally recognized. When performing a JFTOT analysis according this standard method ensures accurate results. But what are the deviations if the results would be compared to those of another analyzer.

Our highly experienced technical team are able to determine product origin through a verification program for how the JETA1 reacts in a aircraft engine,  describes calibration of the temperature sensor, verification of the pump speed, verification of the pressure, volume verification, programming of the offsets and eventually run a reference product as final check.

Quality and reliable test results

SQAS jet fuel testing laboratories participate in an international proficiency test scheme for Jet A-1. These round robin tests act as a performance indicator and help to maintain a consistently high level of quality and assurance from our labs.

Our Aviation fueling product proficiency test scheme for JET A1 perfumed excellence results in the The Institute for Interlaboratory Studies program in Netherlands.

Gas Oil
Diesel Testing

Fuel analysis at diesel testing lab examines the state of the product in terms of certain problems which may have occurred since the fuel left the refinery or loading terminal. SQAS laboratories are able to test any contamination during transportation, or any trace of maxing with other product. Diesel fuel has to meet stringent quality standards such as EN590, ICE Low Sulfur, German DIN. our analytical chemists provide rapid turnaround of results and fully independent reporting.

Is your Diesel product tampered with?

SQAS accredited laboratories enables our customers to identify contamination in diesel products, many cases of tampered Diesel through washing or mixing have been reported. Which is a highly illegal practice and hence it is essential to go for testing services to check the quality in order to determine the presence of marker dye and Sulphur content levels. The Sulphur content level cannot be reduced during the washing process and can be a clear indication of whether the fuel has been tampered with as well as residual dye left behind.
